Developed and maintained critical corporate accounting policies, accounting procedures and key internal controls for development stage oil and gas exploration company.
Prepared external quarterly/annual financial statements, public company reports and managed external audit process for TSX listed companies.
Forensic investigation of £1.5 million fraud investigation in conjunction with the UK Serious Fraud Office.
Managed corporate Rights Offering and assisted with due diligence requirements for private placements and external equity financing.
Upgraded and enhanced internal financial reports, monthly variance analysis and management reports for a $250 million advanced technology company.
Investigated and resolved accounting issues for companies in Canada and the US to align with both Canadian and US GAAP.
Prepared regular cash forecasts, maintained tight control over cash flow and managed creditor queries and demands during a corporate turnaround and for a cash strapped start-up operation.
Prepared and presented quarterly and annual reports to senior management, Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
